Neville (LA) Defensive End Brody Whatley Commits to Baylor
Monroe (LA) Neville High School 2025 defensive end Brody Whatley has committed to Baylor over offers from TCU, Missouri, Arkansas, SMU, and Tulane among others.
He becomes commit No. 7 in the 2025 class.

Baylor was the first program to offer him back in September of 2022 as Dennis Johnson was his initial lead recruiter. Since then he has remained a priority for the staff even once Johnson left to the Baltimore Ravens.
Former Washington defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield joined the Baylor staff this offseason and he has continued that relationship with Whatley along with the rest of the staff who have built strong relationships with Whatley over the past two years.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound prospect earned District 2-4A defensive MVP honors and was first-team all-state in LSWA and LFCA this past season.
On 247 he is rated as an 84-overall prospect and a three-star while Rivals has him rated as a 5.5-overall three-star prospect. He holds an 88-overall rating on SicEm365.
