i understand the difference facets of the pro-legalization camp, but the reality is that anything that is burned and inhaled is bad for your body

if people are going to damage their bodies based on "my body, my choice", should those people be covered by
social services such as healthcare? i ask because at that point someones poor decisions now affect the group,
not just the individual..

Are we going to not provide services due to poor diet, lack of exercise, etc.?

Also, I write all of this as a person that has never used it or any other illegal drug.

Lol, if I had 3 wishes one of them would be a rental car that didn't smell like weed.

The truth is lots of players, if not just about the majority, already smoked weed. They did in 2020, in 2015, in 2010, etc. And I hardly know of anyone being punished for it. So nothing will change, except there won't be an opportunity for unfair and selective enforcement/punishment.

I'm sure schools and coaches will still be able to enforce limits.

About time. I have never understood how weed could illegal and not liquor . they should both be legal. Why anyone get involves in what a person does with their body as long as it does not hurt others just bewilders me. tend to your own business and quit telling people how and what is right and wrong.

THC is really bad for brain development for anyone under 25 and seriously unhealthy because it prevents REM sleep.

It also can cause psychosis and bring underlying schizophrenia to the surface.

In my own personal experience its highly psychologically addictive and when you're not high you're anxiety is through the roof. You're just asking for chronic panic attacks.

100% correct on all counts.

Medical professionals are unanimous in their concerns about pot use; especially in regards to sleep, paranoia and schizophrenia.

Unfortunately their message has been swamped over by the social media glorification of the drug.

A lot of folks are going to learn the hard way.

Trust me, they did in the 80s as well.

Sure. And whiskey doesn't have all that many proclaimed health benefits.
And if the actual goal is to grow a roster of lean, muscular, top performing athletes beef and pasta are near dead last on the training table.

But that's just the problem here. Smoking isn't a healthy habit. But the rest of the substances that are still on the NCAA banned substances list are performance enhancing of some form.
Nobody should have a problem with athletes being tested for substances that qualify as cheating or imminently dangerous. Pot doesn't meet the standard. It's testing and regulation by NCAA and IOC and dozens of other sports federations is purely a social edict.

To be clear, I am not advocating for kids using marijuana. But they are using it. And they're drinking. And they are doing a lot more dangerous and risky things. Pot isn't a PED.

You have to be 21 to buy anything from a smoke shop, you can't even buy nicotine products there at age 18. And they ID way harder than any run of the mill liquor store, grocery or gas station.

There is little difference between the delta products that are currently sold at Texas smoke shops (and have been for the last 5 years) than the ones they sell at Colorado dispensaries.

It's a tough question because everyone's situation is different. My uncle used to be pretty against anything like cannabis, but his perspective shifted when he started dealing with chronic pain. He tried all sorts of treatments, but nothing really helped until he got into THCA vape pens. It wasn't about recreational use; it was about finding relief when nothing else worked. I think it's important to consider the bigger picture and not judge someone based on their lifestyle choices. Sometimes people need a little help, whether it's due to a poor diet, lack of exercise, or something else. We should be open to supporting them in whatever way works best.

Smoking anything ain't great for you, but figuring out who deserves healthcare based on their choices is a slippery slope. Like, are we gonna stop helping people who eat junk food, drink too much, or skip exercise? If someone's looking to cut down on the harm from smoking, there are better options like vapes or even water pipes, which filter the smoke a bit. Sites like smokeday.com have a ton of those options if anyone's curious about reducing the impact without quitting entirely.

Alcohol is so much worse for you..science fact not one person's experience and bias opinion. It should be legal.

There are people who live with horrible pain. They have to use substances in order to be able to carry on. I had a neighbor growing up that had a degenerative back condition. He had over 13 surgeries on his back. Some days he could function and other days all he could do was take high doses of Opioids and try not to scream. I can't fault anyone for trying to seek relief from chronic pain in anyway they can. What is worse using weed or being addicted to Fentanyl because you are in pain? We are fine with people using Opioids in the form of pills and patches that are very addictive, but we are against the use of cannabis who many say allows them to have enough relief to be able to have some sort of life. The issue is very complex.

I've had good luck ordering from ExhaleWell, and their customer service has been solid whenever I had an issue. Shipping times can be hit or miss, but overall, I've been happy with what I got. As for thc vapes, I've noticed they rotate their stock pretty often, so if you see something you like, grabbing it sooner rather than later might be a good idea.
