Just for clarity, do the quotes above from CDA mean he was not involved in football last season? That he was, instead, involved in other things? I can certainly infer that from the on-field outcomes, but is that a direct admission by Dave? And what other things?

This is great. He's optimistic and energetic. He's implementing a vision and willing to take chances. I think he's putting us ahead of the curve instead of being behind it. I do wish he had a teleprompter but he did well with his notes.
