BAYLOR 2026 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST

Baylor running back’s coach Khenon Hall was the first to offer Morris when he was at SMU then he became the first offer by Hall once he got to Baylor.

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound running back ran for 1,754 yards and 32 touchdowns this past season to go along with 888 yards and 10 touchdowns passing.

He committed to Baylor over offers from Oregon, Oklahoma, TCU, USC, SMU, Miami, and Oklahoma State among others.

Morris is a composite top 150 prospect in the 2026 class and is a consensus four-star prospect across every national site.

guys we really need to appreciate this. the fact that there's a point in my life that we got a 4 star and i'm not yelling and screaming says something. we need to save some of the nil to lock down khenon. we need to throw the bag at HIM at the end of this year to keep him. don't leave khenon

Not trying to throw cold water on this, but any more it's hard to get overly excited about verbal commitments - especially one this far in the future - with the way NIL era recruits de-commit and flip the minute a higher bidder shows up. At most I view this kind of thing as the recruit publicly stating we're his favorite as of today, but who knows what will happen when signing day comes.

What happens if Aranda doesn't make it past this season?

I'm thinking a major change is highly unlikely, considering the huge investment in the current support staff. It would take another catastrophic dumpster fire season. Not saying that can't happen, though.

I don't know why people feel the need to say some version of this in every recruiting thread. I think we're all aware of the reality of recruiting today.

Still a nice get as of now, and continues the program's current strong recruiting momentum.

I have never gotten excited about verbal commitments from any star athlete. I get excited about Ws for the program.

To be fair it's really no different for any other school if not one of the top 4-8 schools (4 to 8 not 4-8 like us)
