"Good" is not necessarily how I'd describe Oregon's NIL program; "Prolific" is more on-the-mark.

BU still can't directly pay players right? Or has NIL just got rid of that technicality now? I assume he will assure the school in compliance. Whatever it is it seems to be working on the recruit front.

Is NIL taxable or more like a scholarship?

I thought starting next year Baylor is going to designate 20% of its athletic revenue, I assume net income, to NIL. So I think starting next year (not sure if that means school year or calendar year starting in Jan) schools can pay players.

Kaye has been with Baylor a long time, but none of his prior roles have anything to do with being a general manager that deals with paying players.

If we are to get serious about this, we mind as well pull a guy from an NFL team because I think that a CBA and Salaries may be on the horizon.
