QB looked good on first drive. Gordon with a long TD run.

I have not watched any of it yet… But right now it is 14-14. So it looks like the OSU offense is moving again with the new QB.
That's great they could get it figured out before our game next weekend.
Looks like it's really the OSU running game (including QB Rangel) that are making the difference so far
If Retzlaff would live for another play then BYU might be winning this game. Ollie Gordon is making some plays and Rangel caused problems running. Rangel headed early to locker room with shoulder/collarbone injury. Status unknown
The Cowboys lost Rangel late in the first half, and now Gordon is hurt. Oklahoma State should probably just pack it up and call it a season. They're goose is cooked.
They were running at will with Rangel, but he went down with what's likely a broken collarbone, and Bowman has been horrible, as usual.IowaBear said:

It would be depressing to be a Oklahoma State fan this year. Maybe more depressing than rooting for Baylor.

Cowboys are definitely banged up and are gonna have a hard time the rest of this game for sure. It will be interesting to see if these injuries carry over to next week at Baylor.

Agree…and I'll be shocked if Gordon is able to go next week. Of course Bowman will probably still light up our secondary.

I've got BYU -2.5 in a teaser…I was desperately trying to jinx the Cowboys earlier and it appears it worked. Very fortunate win by the Cougars!

Still not sure they are heads and shoulders above the rest of the conference… But they will have a decent shot at going undefeated up to the Title game.

Reminds me of the Tech defense when Lyle Sentencich was the DC under Leach and then again for the entire Kingsbury coaching error*

It's really, really hard for any team to go undefeated against any schedule. I think they slip up against Utah or Arizona State. But that is a favorable season-ending schedule. I think they definitely finish with a double-digit win total and likely earn a spot in the Big 12 title game.boognish_bear said:

Don't think they can pull that off. But I was wrong about BYU. Underestimated their experience and their balance. Thought them along with Houston would be terrible but only one of those was accurate.
Sitake has done a really good job at BYU. He's too good a coach to field a terrible team. Even last year, they won more games than both their talent and metrics said they should have.Quinton said:

But when he has good teams, he wins a lot of games. And this year's group is clearly a good team. Much better than probably anyone expected.
