A couple of games ago, Robertson went down for a play and they sent in Bennett instead of Finn. Finn was suited up. I was surprised. I do not think he has played in more than three or four games. What is going on?

That may be the case. If so, it doesn't make any sense at all. If he is healthy, he needs to be our #2. With the way we are running the ball, Finn designed runs would be very dangerous for the other team.GoodOleBaylorLine said:
It has seemed obvious to me for awhile that we're paying Finn $750,000 to redshirt (or at least try to redshirt). Good gig if you can get it.

If he were to somehow get another year of eligibility, my guess is it would be someplace else.

Sure, he would be a weapon as a runner.burg0047 said:

If Sawyer injury is High Ankle, he could be starter against WV.

God help us because we're playing in Morgantown. The lone place we've never won.
Maybe our running game has improved because of the passing threat from Sawyer. Defenses cannot stack the box. Finn could actually hurt our running game if he is seen as one dimensional.BearFan33 said:That may be the case. If so, it doesn't make any sense at all. If he is healthy, he needs to be our #2. Is Finn better than our #3? That's the question you need to ask.
I would like to see what Finn did in preseason for our coaches to pick him over SR. I agree he did not look great in the games where he played for us.Jorkel said:BearFan33 said:

Considering #3 QB is all of 6' 175lbs ….Finn is still not a better thrower than him

I'm not upset at Finn. I'm upset at the coaching staff for bringing him here.Jorkel said:BearFan33 said:I would like to see what Finn did in preseason for our coaches to pick him over SR. I agree he did not look great in the games where he played for us.Jorkel said:BearFan33 said:

In Finn's defense nobody ever said he was a great quarterback. It's not like he had P5 film. He was pretty good in a bottom conference, that's it. And he had 9 seasons as a starter to show it. All Finn did was enter the portal. And there was pressure on the staff to bring in a QB and Finn was the easiest and least cost option.
Some of y'all act like Finn pulled one over on us. He never said he was going to suddenly do better. Poor scouting followed by a complete lack of competition in camp.
