I did take Mich +14....considered a ML bet too but didn't.

Watching Cincy and WVU.

WVU's defense is getting shredded playing zone, slowly and methodically. Cincy is running a lot of different looks with some wide zone and inside zone, and Sorsby is doing well at reading the coverage and finding the seams.

Weird things happen in Morgantown, but I like our chances for a win there. If our defense can shore up some more over the bye, could be a 10+ point win too.

WVU's defense now tightening up. Cincy's QB looks uncomfortable

If Indiana gets ahead early, Michigan is cooked. Their offense is the only offense that made ours look like a juggernaut early in the season. It's that bad.

Sorsby is a sorry QB. B12 QB play as a whole this year has been very poor

Horns running away from Gators

Lagway was a game time decision… But ended up not playing

I don't think it's strictly a big 12 problem. I think QB play in general has been kinda lack luster this year for all of college football. Sure you got Cam Ward, but overall there's a lot of okay QBs out there.

There's several really good ones. Howard, Gabriel, Milroe, Dart, Sanders etc
But yeah the drop off after the top tier is pretty large this year

Very poor is a bit dramatic. He's adequate. Lot of adequate QB play in college football.

There isn't a QB we've played against in the Big 12 that I haven't been at least somewhat concerned about, particularly after our defense has shown to be pringles.

Well yeah but in fairness our secondary makes every QB look elite. Even when they clearly aren't. I mean we made Alan Bowman look like a 1st team All B12 QB

Watching a lot of different college games the last few weeks has made me appreciate having Sawyer even more.

I think we want WVU to win if we want chaos in the B12 standings and for us to have a miracle chance.

WVU winning gives Cincy 3 losses and we have a chance next week to give WVU their third loss if we can somehow figure out Morgantown.

WVU 17
Cincy 7

Miami again struggling mightily. A loss SHOUKD drop them out of the top 12 for now

This one's not over yet. West Viriginia just threw an untimely pick and gave up a big play for a score. The lead is down to 10 with a whole quarter still to play.

Def not over but Cincy still isn't any good. Nor is WV imo

The momentum may be shifting in Cincinnati. That quick-strike score seems to have energized both their crowd and team.

I think both are very mediocre. But they're plucky, like a lot of other Big 12 teams. When they play well, they can win games. When they don't, they can look really bad.

But honestly, that's most of college football these days.

Cincy has a sneaky good home field advantage. Was awfully loud there last year when Bu was in town.

I want to see a game there someday. I've always thought that was an interesting stadium/setting.

And I like the city of Cincinnati a lot. I wouldn't mind going back sometime.

West Virginia's defense is interesting because it's a lot like ours -- good against the run and bad against the pass.

It will be interesting to see how we try to attack it next week and if we're able to continue our recent success in the run game.

It's a very cool stadium! My personal fav of the B12 stadiums I've visited. The tailgate scene is unique as well.

Yeah, I'll believe a win in Morgantown when I see it. Our best teams could never do it. But if we lose it will give the fire everybody crowd hope, so at least some people would be happy about it.

Yup they kept us out of playoff in what 2014? And that BU team was elite

We've been close on numerous occasions. Four of our seven losses there were by one score -- one in overtime.

There's nothing magical about that homefield advantage. We just haven't played quite well enough to win there in the past.

But this West Virginia team isn't anything special. If we play to our capabilities, I'd expect this to be another four-quarter game that we'll have an opportunity to win if we execute.

One advantage we'll have is that West Virginia doesn't throw very well. If we can bottle up the run game and force Marchiol (or Greene, if he's healthy) to beat us, we'll have a good shot. Because our offense will score a fair number of points.

Cincy forces a punt down just 3. Wouldn't mind them winning. A back breaker of sorts loss for WV can't hurt
