Yes, our onside kick that Alabama scooped up and ran for 6, as I recall.

Another projection just surfaced:

Texas Bowl: Baylor vs. Texas A & M

It would be a sellout for sure. And this board would go wild if we take down the Aggies!

Hopefully we might have a chance because I doubt any of the SWC refs that helped them beat us back in the 70's and 80's are still alive and if they are they're too old to officiate.

Pop-tarts bowl tidbits:

Started off as the Blockbuster Bowl in 1990 and was played at Joe Robbie.
Game moved to Orlando in 2001
Game has changed names 9-10 times since 1990

WVU has played in the game with its various names, 5 times since 1995 and is 0-5.

If we get Bama in a bowl it will be Bama lite. Bama didn't have a typical Bama season but they are still chocked full of guys who are getting drafted in the Spring so there's a 0% chance any of them will play in anything other than the CFP.

Precisely. That game would mean way more to us than it would to them. Beat them and let them make all the excuses they want.

Oddly enough if we face Bama, one of the HCs will likely be on the hot seat with his program's fan base and it won't be the one who was on the hot seat during the 23 season until about a month ago. It will be the one who was the hottest name in college football during that time.

I don't care who we play someone else brought up Bama. I just thought that would be an interesting twist if that is who we played.

I was at the Cotton Bowl in 1980 and would love to treat Alabama like they treated us!
