Or we just value/prioritize that particular player more highly than they do.

It's just like pro sports at this point. Players have higher values to certain teams than they do others.

Burns is the third-highest-ranked player in our class. By ranking, he would be the worst non-kicker recruit in Oregon's entire class. I doubt very seriously they would be willing to devote the same percentage of their NIL budget to him that we would as he's much more important to us than he would be to them.

Or…. possibly he might not be as high on their charts, another LB prospect might be their focal point. Or maybe he wants to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond. $$$ might be it who knows. I guess we'll know by late tomorrow.
