It isn't fair that the successful teams get extra practice time and extra money and extra perks from playing in bowl games.

That only helps the rich to get richer.

All the losing teams are further disadvantaged because they DON"T get extra practice time, money or perks. They fall further behind.

The poor just get poorer.

Isn't it time to be fair and give the downtrodden teams a chance to lift themselves up??

Any team that DOESN'T go to a bowl can hold extra practices until New Year's Eve.

They get extra revenue-sharing from TV and bowl money.

And their players get free trips to exotic places.*

Wouldn't that even things out?

I'm told this will be put in the Democrat Party platform for the next elections. Republicans and independents need to add their support.

*Prime examples of exotic bowl sites include Frisco, Texas; Shreveport, Louisiana; Boise, Idaho; Conway, South Carolina; and Detroit, Michigan.

I've been to the Myrtle Beach bowl in Conway and it's not a bad bowl site. It was daggum cold for coastal South Carolina the year I went, though.

I actually am not opposed to allowing the extra practice time for schools that don't make bowls. That will help them develop their starters for next year.

Is it possible they spiked the eggnog at the office party? This is the most bizarre thread...
Teams in P5 records are not playing in bowl games because they had a losing record. A number of teams that have made bowls this season are concerned about having enough players to play having lost so many to the portal. Making a 2-9 team practice in December-January would be an excellent way to encourage an entire roster to exit by portal. Surprised Prime time didn't think of that when he came to Colorado last year.
