Baylor's OLB Coach Caleb Collins 'Let Go' by Dave Aranda
Caleb Collins, Baylor's outside linebackers coach, has been let go according to his social media.
Collins has been with the Baylor program since 2020 and followed head coach Dave Aranda from LSU to Waco.
He worked as a quality control coach on defense for his first season, then was promoted to an on-field role as assistant coach for outside linebackers in November 2021. Against Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, Collins saw his linebacker group set a Sugar Bowl record with 10 sacks against the Rebels.
The Bears are losing sixth-year senior pass rushers Garmon Randolph and Steve Linton to the NFL Draft but have added Tulane’s Matthew Fobbs-White and Oregon’s Emar’rion Winston via the transfer portal.
Aranda will look to hire a replacement for Collins in the coming weeks.
