I just looked at 247 and rivals and the ranking is the same four stars.

These ratings companies have always played fast and loose with players ratings. They know more fans will buy into their site if kids are going to the favored school or conference.Texas gets 100 5 star recruits but for years produced mediocre teams. Mike Singletary was a low star recruit but destroyed opponents. As for ratings impact on NIL money, I don't care.

Players who so the passion, do the work and play for their team are all that matters.

The better players will have a shot at the pros and most can make much more money over time than NIL.
