I don't know that this is true just because the Indians HC of all people claims this. However if it is not true, I'm not sure why Tech has not just put out out a good natured denial of the claim without saying more to tamp down expectations. They sure seem to like to have their fans etc hyped up with high expectations. They will eventually pay the price if they continue to not meet them.
