Dang, Eastern time...

Game is in Central Time Zone.
Conference was established in Central Time Zone.
Headquarters is in Central Time Zone.
Most teams are in Central Time Zone, even with the recent additions.
The teams playing in it will likely not be in the Eastern Time Zone.

Just stop it with that Eastern crapola.

The sport, as it currently exists, is primarily a complicated tv asset. I'm surprised they didn't list it as 12 Eastern/9 Pacific.
Noooo evidence for that, babeeyyy, just maaade it up.

Centrally located within the Big 12 footprint. As good a location as any unless you want to move it around for the heck of it.

I totally get why they do it. Makes all the sense in the world. I am personally just tired of going there, but that's a personal issue. : )

It's the logical choice, and honestly, the nicest stadium in our footprint for such a contest.

Wouldn't be opposed to San Antonio, though.

While the Alamodome isn't much to write home about, San Antonio itself may be the best overall location for a championship event.

The Alamodome needs a Chip demo day but as a destination San Antonio beats Arlington every day, all day.
