So Coach Aranda is asked a question about his thoughts on NIL issues. Being the thinking person he is, he quotes from a book that uses the word "midget". Next some obscure group gets upset because he said the "M" word. Coach Aranda being a nice guy then makes it worse by apologizing. I'm expecting the BOR to fire him and hire Baylor's new president will be a very short person.

Coach Aranda made his thoughts known about the NIL affecting college football but that part of the conversation was buried because he used the "M" word. MIDGET means something & it's a real word. People need to stop being offended by everything and move on. Let's focus on the destruction of college athletics by the NIL system and give real solutions to repairing college sports.

Oh and by the way, MIDGET, MIDGET, MIDGET. SO THERE!

It really matters if words are intended to be derogatory or not by the user. Word police usually don't care about that. They often attempt to become the arbitrators of vocabulary to help people who wish they'd just stop.

Clearly, Dave should have referenced the movie "RUNT" with the song "Short People" playing in the background, to make his point.

We are not currently relevant enough in the football world for anybody to get mad about this outside of a couple neck beard types on Reddit. It's so odd that Aranda is nice enough to apologize for using a mildly politically incorrect word like midget, but Georgia's coach has never apologized for his players endangering the public with constant arrests for reckless driving and various other things. That's more of an institutional control issue if I've ever seen it. But don't you dare bring that issue up on Reddit, cause the pickle smoochers on the CFB board will ban you
