Baylor (11-7; 1-5) suffers another lopsided defeat at home 92-73 to Texas Tech (15-4; 5-1). The Bears allowed 55 points in the first half, and Texas Tech never felt any game pressure. Next up for the Bears is a home game against TCU on Saturday.

Positives

  • Cam Carr had a solid effort: 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals.
  • Isaac Williams IV was solid off the bench: 205 offensive rating, 11 points, two assists and no turnovers.

Disappointing

  • The energy and effort are just not there. This team will likely be competing for the bottom of the Big 12 this year, and it looks like the worst Baylor team since the early 2000s.
  • Talent level just isn’t Big12 quality, but neither is the effort.
