OU Fans can pay almost $700 to sit in the post game press conference after the Michigan game.

What's next - for $500 you get to clean the locker room toilets??

Now you know good and well fans of any team will pay for that right. I can think of several from this site, particularly the pay side, that would jump at that to be able to then come on here and act like they were in the know even more.

While he makes great points, sadly, those days are over in college football.

That cat is way out of the bag at this point.

And it's 10x worse in college basketball.

With college football - At least you have to wait 3 years before you can get to the league. And while kids might still be transferring left and right during that stretch, they are at least able to mature and learn somewhat.

In college basketball, kids are able to jump ship after 1 year. And with the NBA willing to pay an insane amount of money to an unproven player these days, why would a kid stick around and take school seriously?

NBA teams are paying players $50 million+ per year now, and they don't even have to be named LeBron, Steph or KD (which at this point, are probably the only 3 players actually worth that amount of money, given what they bring to the league).

College football had a chance to get things under control years ago, had they just provided a respectable piece of the pie to the athletes.

But they didnt do it then, and they aren't even doing that now - and are forcing fans and alumni to foot the bill.

So true. The NBA has some insane salaries for unproven players. And since they have less players on a team it seems like there are more "failures" or "didn't live up to expectations" type players that make a tone of money and are out of the league in a few years. Just look at some of the rosters in Europe or that 3 on 3 league for examples.

The game between the first two teams in Frisco for the national championship had almost 19,000 at it. A stadium with 65,000 capacity will seem empty.

No. Just no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cinderella team in March Madness does not correlate to college football.

Agreed. Even if a Cinderella wins their first game they will most likely get beat in their second game. Just like many of the 12 and below in March madness. Which is why I am also not a fan of it expanding. But I also don't like a team having to "play in" but they are and 11. The play ins should be for a 16 spot.

I am not sure that is right. TCU was a Cinderella (admittedly won one game).

28 teams is way too many.

I would say let's let the 12 team PO play out a little before we change everything again. The issue is SEC and B10 want to grab everything now.

TCU was 12-0 and finished 2nd in the nation, that's not on the same level as the 1985 Villanova Wildcats.

They were 12-1 and #3. And 8 point underdogs against UM, who was actually undefeated.

But fair enough, They were not 1985 Villanova.

This might be the first year that Chase Daniel has to actually put in some true work to get his paycheck. Lol. He didn't seem to need to do it much in his long career but made some good money.
