If you can put Trey Wingo and Angela Kinsey I'm putting Louis Giglio. His ministry started in a Baylor apartment, and has impacted millions of young people around the world (and now not so young people like me ). In my opinion the passion movement is one of the most important influences on world Christianity in the last 25 years.

fyi billy Graham also received "honorary doctorate" from baylor, so he should at least get a mention.

At one point in 1900s a large portion of overseas baptist missionaries came through Baylor summer missions program. Most not famous though --- yet.

(p.s., wouldn't gave gone here on football page but you opened the door ...

Never said she didn't but the hypothetical Baylor Mount Rushmore should include only Baylor alums.

What about our Forbes 400 members which are Drayton McLane Jr., Andrew Beal, and Thasunda Brown Duckett.

Auburn has David Zalik on this list.

I'd add Thomas Harris to the Baylor list.

Wrote The Silence of the Lambs, and the rest of the Hannibal Lecter series. More than 50 million copies sold. The film adaptation swept the Oscars in all 5 categories and is routinely on "best films of all time" lists.

Covered the police beat for the Waco Trib while at Baylor.

Kevin Reynolds:

Bill Bickley:

Been a christian for 40 years, SBC for 3/4ths of that before hitting eject on the denomination. I'd consider myself pretty plugged in, but I've never heard of him or his ministry.

It is a ministry geared more for college age Christians. I will say it is pretty influential with big names in Christian music and speakers. I don't have the same theological bent as many of their speakers, since I am not a conservative Calvinist. It has been around for decades.

To see the scale the next event is Jan 1-3 at Globe Life.
