Rest assured they will come out very focused next week. I expect it to be like their Super Bowl. They definitely want revenge from last year

I'm not going to worry about it. TCU is clearly not a great football team. Go to Fort Worth and play a good football game. We can definitely beat that team if we do.

You throw out the records in that game.

Regardless, it was fun to watch the Toads get bent over by a mid Kansas Aggies team.

Tcu always gets up for Baylor even if the reverse isn't true. That's why we never blow them out but they sometimes blow us out. 2021 is a prime example. We should have destroyed them that year but aranda didn't understand this is their Super Bowl. They will give Baylor their best game and if Baylor's doesn't play their best game of the year so far they will likely lose. On the other hand if they win they have the chance to go on a great run. Huge game.

TCU always gives us their best game. Even when we often don't reciprocate. They hate us. It's like a crab in the bucket syndrome.

Agreed.

These next 2 weeks will likely define our season.

TCU and CINCY will be tough outs on the road.

But if we manage to win both, then the Utah game in November could very well be for a berth in the Big XII Title game.

Only if we somehow play far better than we did against K-State. This is TCU's Super Bowl.

Tough pick. On the one hand TCU doesn't care about anything but beating Baylor.

On the other hand, Baylor plays best on the road.

I live in Ft. Worth. Why we never understand how much they hate us is so frustratingI would almost consider it a successful season if our only win every year was as against them. I'll look at the bright side, we do have Sawyer and the best receiver room in the conference! Hopefully we will out score them! I sure hope it doesn't come down to our defense getting the final stop to win the game.

Our defense is going to have to make stops. TCU is gonna hang a pretty big number

Need them to commit +3 turnovers most likely

Yes, they will indeed hang a big number - only way we stay in this one is if we can put up 45+.

Don't think it needs to be that high. But it'll take 30 plus to win this one.

If somehow we can get to Hoover early, his play will digress. He showed that in both the KSU and ASU games. If not, we'll have to win a score fest with little margin of error.

Well said . Their fans attending our games behave in a manner that no other teams do, including Texas. This will again absolutely be the biggest game of the year for TCU. I wish it were for us.

absolutely it will. this is two of the fastest playing teams in the country with the two highest passing yard QBs. That's a lot of possessions and a lot of points. Holding them under 30 would be a huge win for our defense. Hoover's passing yard numbers are nearly irrelevant if we can keep him under like 400. He had over 350 in loss to K St. last week.

So you think Baylor will need 45 plus? Seems a little contradicting as you said in another thread Gonzalez being a former TCu coach will help our D. If TCU score north of 40 BU isn't winning this game. The O is way to To prone to not eventually start gifting TCU the ball.

I think if we keep them under 30 we have a very high chance of winning, and if I had to guess how many BU will score I would guess something like 38, which is just over our average. We should get several more possessions in this game than we did against K St., but hopefully Bryson will get a ton of carries and bleed a little clock in the second half if we are up.

But I don't think it's out of the question for this to be an old-school, big-12 BU-TT bowl type game where both teams are in the 40s if not higher. We basically have two air-raid evolved offenses going at each other from pretty-close branches of the tree, but neither of them is running the ball right now like they would hope they would.
