This is Finebaum virtue signaling. He wants to remind everyone, including himself that he's morally superior to the masses. Does he care about facts? No he doesn't care about that. He cares about getting retweets and clicks to justify his contract at ESPN prior to their next purge.
Ironically, he's disproving his moral superiority by rooting for innocent players and coaches to lose. If he cared that much maybe he'd seek out some of the alleged victims and do an anonymous profile on how they've turned their lives around after the alleged rapes. But I guess that might take a little work instead of sitting at home or in the studio.
