That's obviously why Miller left and if you look at Aranda's statement concerning his departure you can see he is a lap dog for AD.

Now the part that concerns me. The story says Rhoades WAS investigated. Why is he still here if they investigated and the report is factual?

It's always a bit concerning to me when the AD is that involved in the day-to-day goings on of a team. Rhoades being on the sideline is asking for something problematic to happen. Same for the Utah AD making an ass of himself when they played BYU last year.

The only time I felt it was appropriate was when Rhoades ripped into the officials on behalf of Coach Drew, so that Drew wouldn't take the heat after that egregious officiating performance versus Iowa State.

ADs should rarely be heard from in-season, in my opinion. This is a horrible look all-around, especially from the guy who is the sitting head of the CFP Committee.

Maybe the same way campus-wide sexual assaults were kept quiet for years?

This stemmed from Mack asking Trigg "why the fxck he had a yellow on"?

Most fans have asked that for 6 years of our athletes particularly in football. Why would Mack go beserk about it.

I think the more modern term is **** show.

As to this story, let's just say, I expect to see Spavital find a new job when the season ends.

Next year is going to be a complete rebuild whether we retain Dave or not. Should we retain him, I could see our better players wanting to hit the portal. Stories like these are symptoms of a program on its final descent.

Everybody except Mack and Aranda will end up getting fired.

Yeah, I don't like that either.

I can forgive an isolated incident as a momentary lack of judgment, but in this story alone, he had two separate altercations with two separate people at two separate times.That indicates a chronic inability to control one's emotions.

How many other incidents like this have there been with him that went unreported?

If this story is true, I want Mack Rhoades fired. The absolute last thing we need, with our history, is an athletic director bringing our university bad publicity with stupid, off-the-field nonsense.

He seemed ok for a long time. He started being weird when he dyed his hair and put some kind of oily stuff in it. He started to dress weird and was trying to look younger and hip. It did not work. He just looks creepy. I am ok with him being gone. The sad truth is that it will cost several million dollars to get rid of him. They should never give him another contract.

It was always a painful experience to listen to Mac attempt to speak. Is he someone who came recommended by Jimmy Sexton?

He was always an embarrassment but that isn't new at Baylor. Since he is on the CFP Committee I'm curious if they were aware of this until now.

Should not cost a penny if the story is true.

I was really hoping we could've made it more than just 10 years before having to hear "Baylor is investigating..." again

Almost too specific to be completely made up. I think most of us who sniffed out and commented on Rhoade's huge attitude problem were probably right. Dude needs his ass kicked. Oh and obviously be removed.

Getting worked up over the undershirt.. which looked solid on TV by the way. Rhoades the type of dude who needs to put input even when its completely unnecesary. No wonder subservient Dave has lasted so long..the AD likes it that way and Drew is probably too nice to push him.

In addition to being completely unacceptable, that is weasel behavior.

Now its complete confirmation bias on my end right now (until proven), but to curse out multiple dudes and touch players/coaches while pitching the religious mission is such a disgrace. The self righteousness is off the charts. Dude probably helped sucked the life out of the team as well. The AD is adding to an already de-motivated group.

Helps that you know the guys can't touch you. The weasel needs to chill bc he's going to get beat one day continually pulling this nonsense...stop pretending, nobody is mistaking you for a tough guy.

The Athletic just posted the story. Here is a quote from Trigg's father. It's a dagger:

"What bothers me is, Baylor is a Christian school," Michael Trigg Sr. said. "For someone in the administration to have those choice words for a student-athlete? And that's the first interaction you've ever had with one of your better players? That doesn't make sense to me."

While Rhoades did lead us out of the Briles disaster, I believe he has run his course at Baylor. Might as well get a new AD with the freedom to hire his own football coach.
