Please tell me why you're right. You have absolutely no idea and are simply speculating... spinning. Rice may be a bad AAC football school but it offers an elite education. The young man may just be making a better choice for himself and his future. Neither one of us knows.

Maybe dave should give some of his salary to sign some portal guys after this class has largely fallen apart.

A couple of these guys were likely gonna be gone anyway, at least. The worse problem is that Baylor isn't flipping anyone in their direction to fill some gaps. I don't like betting it all on portal guys that may or may not come. But that's the schiff creek we're floating in right now in a chicken-wire canoe and no paddle.

I'm wondering if there's more to it, if baylor chose to reallocate some of the NIL money he was promised for some reason, causing him to look elsewhere. yes, it may be that Rice's elite education is what led to the flip. But like you said, we don't know. So why is it wrong for me to speculate in favor of the team I root for? And why does it matter that my username points back to a female bear mascot? am I not allowed to be here and speculate and share my opinion? shame on you, honestly.

We would have needed a big transfer class anyway.

This year's recruits have like no bearing on who plays. How many true freshmen see the field in a P4 program outside of key skill position groups? Almost none.

Transfer portal should be to poach guys who have already seen the field or who just have crazy measurables.

Look. Here's the deal. We tried winning with national championship talent and we couldn't even make a bowl. Why not mix it up and try winning with UTSA left-overs?

Did Baylor Recruiting News point out this kid had only started 1 game (or probably 0 at the time) when he committed to us over the summer, or are they just taking a shot at the kid and bringing out the facts now that he went elsewhere?

Someone who views the glass half full could say were ranked #25 in country on average grade of commits at 88.3. we plummeted to 70s in overall because we went from 18 to 12 commits.

Only Colorado had fewer

Most Baylor fans and a lot of BMD's probably feel that way, but I don't think Prez or Aranda do. They are betting that Aranda turns it around with a good year, against all odds, or at least a good enough year to justify staying the course.

They are going to do their best to hit the portal hard and pick up some productive players. Whether they succeed will have to be proven.
