are we losing recruits to Rice or did we all but rescind an offer bc he didn't do much this year? he was also offered by UH. if you get offers from two p4 schools and choose to go to a bad AAC school… the p4 offers went away.
Username checks out.
nice pls tell me why I'm wrong

Please tell me why you're right. You have absolutely no idea and are simply speculating... spinning. Rice may be a bad AAC football school but it offers an elite education. The young man may just be making a better choice for himself and his future. Neither one of us knows.

Basically it looks like we suffered with recruits like we had a coaching change.....except we didn't have a coaching change.

We lost late DL offers to Tulane and UTSA
Here's what Baylor FB must do, not what they should try and do. Dave Aranda & staff must take the money left from the lost high-level de-commitments, use that in transfer portal and go find some grown ass men who are seasoned and of course for the OL/DL, but everywhere. I know…

Down and down it goes, where it will stop nobody knows.

We're down to #79 behind South Alabama, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Troy, and Northern Illinois.
Still ahead of Western Kentucky, Bowling Green, UTEP, New Mexico, and Eastern Michigan.
Thanks Linda!

How is someone a D1 recruit but only started one game in high school????

Look. Here's the deal. We tried winning with national championship talent and we couldn't even make a bowl. Why not mix it up and try winning with UTSA left-overs?

Baylor might sign 1 DL and 1OL if Seaton flips
That sure seems like a recipe for zero or 1 conference wins in future seasons.
Hope they can put a band aide on that via the portal but plugging holes in the OL using players with no experience in a system is not the most effective way to build an OL.

Does it matter? Aranda still hasn't developed a true front seven starter in his six years as coach. He'll do what he did last season, rely entirely on the portal.

ofc I am speculating, that is part of what this forum is for? "we lost a recruit to RICE?!" implies that a g5 school beating out a p4 school is ridiculous. I'm wondering if there's more to it, if baylor chose to reallocate some of the NIL money he was promised for some reason, causing him to look elsewhere. yes, it may be that Rice's elite education is what led to the flip. But like you said, we don't know. So why is it wrong for me to speculate in favor of the team I root for? And why does it matter that my username points back to a female bear mascot? am I not allowed to be here and speculate and share my opinion? shame on you, honestly.
boognish_bear said:
If BU is just kicking the can down the road to fire Aranda next year I don't see them being very motivated to invest much NIL in portal shopping.
Dave Aranda said the road to #NSD26 was a "difficult fight".
