It just seems like hours, each day that makes Baylor University seem so dysfunctional in regards to certain business issues. As we watch all the turmoil, yet swift moving steps to completion all around us and we can't get out of neutral rolling backwards toward a 1000 ft drop off. Proof plus that there isn't a sense of urgency. I need to find a way to not have interest period in BU.

I don't know about Morris after watching a bit of their game last night. Their defense looks as bad as Baylor's and the offense can't keep from shooting themselves in the foot.

It was one game - granted, the biggest game of the season for them - but still one game, and they're 11-2 even with the loss. The dude can coach and watch OSU blow by us starting next season.

Her previous lack of leadership lead us to this pass. She was unprepared for the sudden change. It was her decision to keep Aranda. She is likely leading (or should be) the hunt for a new AD. This is her mess, and it keeps on happening.

The only AD hires that take less than a couple of weeks that I have seen have been in house promotions. Actually they seem to usually take at least a couple of months. If this was March or April and no announcement you might have a point regarding the AD search. But right now it has been 2 weeks.

I'm no Linda hater, but I certainly think we should have an AD by now. It's been almost three months since our former AD's incidents before and after the Arizona State game should have gotten him fired.

We dragged our feet on doing what should have been done there and are dragging our feet again in naming his replacement.

While everyone else recognizes the urgency of their current situation in modern college athletics and is moving at the speed of light to best position their programs for what's to come, our university is stuck in quicksand, doing a snail crawl further into athletic irrelevancy.

To me the slow pace indicates there really is zero chance of moving on from Aranda this off-season.

I think if there was a sense of urgency about that change we would be moving at a quicker pace to bring someone in.
