Wish he was Baylor's coach. Love watching his teams play sound football.

Curt Cignetti & Indiana were not gonna 'play not to lose' against the Buckeyes

So in mid-season, 2023 before Indiana approached him, would Curt Cignetti have come to Baylor as head coach? Yeh I know our administration loves Aranda or can't stomach the payout, but with that simple call and difficult in-season decision could Cignetti have accomplished here what he has at Indiana, understanding he performed in the Big Ten which may be giving him a slightly higher profile than had he come here and performed in the Big 12.

From Wiki
Cignetti is a five-time conference coach of the year and the 2024 national coach of the year. He is the only college football coach to have started 10-0 with two different teams in consecutive seasons, achieving this unique distinction with James Madison University in 2023 and Indiana University in 2024. During his first season at Indiana, he was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year after leading the Hoosiers to a program-record 11 wins and their first-ever College Football Playoff berth. In 2025, he repeated as Big Ten Coach of the Year as Indiana completed the first 120 regular season in school history and won their first Big Ten Conference title since 1967.
Cignetti was born June 2, 1961, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Hall-of-Fame coach Frank Cignetti Sr. Cignetti played quarterback for the West Virginia Mountaineers from 1979 to 1982 under head coaches Frank Cignetti Sr. and Don Nehlen.

Don't do it Curt. Remember Saban's struggles in NFL. It is just a different group to coach.
