Good video, and mindful of the journey from walk-on to NFL draft pick, but what brings a tear to my eye is I can't remember a draft since 2008 or so in which the first BU player taken was in the last round.

They have 4 receivers basically locked for the roster already. That leaves one slot unless they keep 6 receivers. It just makes it a steeper climb to make the roster.

Wow, Cameron and Marshall picked, but still not Sawyer or Trigg with just a few rounds to go.

If you said "pick the two that get drafted" I doubt many would have gotten that right.

Ya it thought Trigg wouldve been drafted just on measurables and upside alone. Sawyer will go somewhere and probably be a decent back up like Stidham.

A draft is an investment. You at worse fall to practice squad.

KC taking Utah TE over him is a shocker.

That doesn't mean anything. UDFA isn't like the draft. He probably has several situations to choose from.

I mean picks, not rounds. I think they were 11 picks from the end.

I'm surprised Sawyer didn't get picked, but not shocked. Pretty shocked that Trigg didn't get picked. He does have issues to iron out outside of his receiving ability. But dang, in the era of receiving TEs I figured someone would take chance by the 5th or 6th round. He is a tweener type guy, but there must be issues beyond that.

Cowboys could be a great spot for Trigg. They were wanting to add a TE and were expected to take one in the draft, just not enough picks to go around.

This draft specifically I think was the hammer on the P2. SEC was always a step ahead because they get more big athletic dudes than any conference but watching Josh Cameron tumble down the draft was eye opening. High character, hard working, made Feldman Freak list, great blocker, good at contested balls, great special teams player, major threat in open space with vision and strength. Needs work on route tree yet a number of P2 guys with lesser traits who also need work on route tree went off the board before him because "name of school". Titans picked Carnell Tate #4 overall. Smaller than Cameron, maybe slower, and needs to work on expanding his route tree. A number of tight ends with much less production off the board before Tanner Koziol from Houston. Trigg got flagged for off field stuff from his Ole Miss days (something probably went down if Lane Kiffin wants you off the team) so I can understand to an extend his fall, but some other guys? Makes no sense other than teams saying we'd rather take a P2 guy just because he's P2 over any other conference player even if the tape screams pick the other guy.
