His lisfranc foot injury not only ruined his senior season (exacerbated by the other well documented team factors) but made him too risky after battling it for a year and a half.

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. It's a tough league. Plenty of guys are working regular jobs waiting for the call from their agent to report for workouts, and it's impossible for most to make an entire career out of that

As far as LinkedIn, yes, it's basically Facebook for business people. Been a few years since I was applying for jobs, but I still found myself having to use it and have a profile updated. Maybe things have changed, IDK. I know the job market is rough right now

Idk the full story on Sawyer injury but teams do not like injuries unless you are viewed a complete freak of an athlete. Love Sawyer, but he definitely got dinged for playing in a pass happy spread offense. He has good size but isn't Josh Allen. He has a decent arm but lacks the velocity of Cam Ward. He doesn't currently have the touch or accuracy of a Drew Brees. He enters the league as a project with some inconsistent mechanics and timing. Unfortunately he doesn't have any "elite" traits. The league loves traits. Sawyer is a good athlete, he has a good arm, he has good size. Being a great kid does not make you a top draft pick.

Cameron's draft fall was probably linked to his injury. He did no running or jumping after the senior bowl.

Foot injuries in particular can become chronic things to deal with over a career, or a short career. Hopefully it won't be that. But it is potentially something that could take a prospect from being a potential 5th or 6th round pick to an unsigned rookie camp project.
