With that group, you'd have to give serious consideration to Josh Gordon.
As discussed on another thread Odell James is one of those weird cases of a bust. It was partially him but mainly his injury and then coaches not running the correct offense for him.
Didn't Odell James finish his BU career playing safety?
Yes. If I remember right though he played very little though.
Funny how most of the players mentioned on this thread are "old school" isn't it?
There are plenty of newer guys listed here as well.
There is also a large gap where BU just plain stunk so there aren't a lot of guys from those teams (except the punter) that are considered.
Also, whether a player is listed on an all time great list doesn't have anything to do with the era they played, or prove anything like I know you are trying to hint at.
