Dj will be fine and I think he will look good but we still lose 6-7 games. Dave has to go after tthis season. We will know by 9/5 where we stand.

I think the Arizona State game is the pivotal game. We'll be 3-1 going into that one, and a loss signals we're not getting any better - still losing to teams we need to beat to step forward and only beating the crappy ones.

I know basically zero about Louisiana tech, but I assume that any halfway decent players they had last year either graduated or got pilfered by a bigger school.

I feel like this was a rare game that wasn't entirely Aranda's fault, considering we had Blake "I can throw the ball accurately past 15 yards" Shapen running the passing game, plus most of Matt Rhules superhumans had graduated at that point

he's a colored minority so you know how that goes with the lunatic left

Yeah, I think you're right.

Speed and a big arm only gets you so far in that position without the ability to make great in game decisions.

He was statistically one of the worst quarterbacks in the SEC last year, and that was with more talent surrounding him at UF than we are going to surround him with.

With our OL, he's going to spend a lot of time trying to throw on the run.

I am telling you. I don't think this will be pretty.

I hope it does not come to this, but college football is now a professionalized business, and the family may need to make a business decision. We may not like that reality, but the game has changed. A thread like thisonce nearly unimaginable 20 years agomay still seem unlikely today, but it is no longer unthinkable.

I do think it was Aranda's fault. It's his job to get his team ready to play, and to call plays based on the players you have been dealt.
