Don't turn this into politics. A young man has tragically died, and we mourn for the family

A young healthy man just doesn't die because of no reason. The Covid vaccine is being shown to cause heart problems, miscarriages, and other serious medical conditions. It's science not politics. The tragedy of his death is something we should all mourn. But the medical community must examine the causes and protect young healthy people so not ruling out the Covid vaccine is just science. Praying for the family

Every medication known to the human race has a side affects warning label. You still take them yes?

I agree that the death of a young, otherwise healthy person deserves a careful investigation, and no possible cause should simply be dismissed. But "the vaccine is being shown to cause" a particular death is a much stronger claim than saying it should be considered as one possibility.

Science requires evidence of causation, not simply timing or suspicion. COVID vaccines have been associated with some recognized adverse events, including myocarditis, particularly in young males, which is rare, but that does not mean every unexplained death or medical condition afterward was caused by the vaccine.
So yesinvestigate, follow the evidence, acknowledge legitimate risks, and protect young people. But let's apply the same scientific standard to the vaccine hypothesis that we apply to every other possible cause. That isn't politics; that's science.

Seems like this has always happened here and there during two-a-days or the beginning of fall practice, no matter how much more they do re: physicals / heart exams / restrictions on heat.

Robert you are sadly correct. For those wanting to point to the COVID vaccine, these happened before COVID. My heart goes out to his family.

Pray does not mean God is a go-to miracle maker if the right number of prayers are offered.

Pray means God in love and grace goes with us in this frief and mourning..

Sad.

This heat is no joke. And these days a lot of teens don't play outside over the summer so they aren't used to the heat. That is why the UIL has restrictions on the first days of practice being just helmets to get acclimated to the heat.

They even put out new rules that take into account things other than just temperatures for practice and water breaks.

So yes an investigation needs to happen. Was there enough water, hidden health problems, did he drink an energy drink before practice, medications, etc.

There was very nearly a death in Arkansas this week as well when a player set his helmet down and went to pick it up and there was a snake in. Copperhead I believe.

Not at the frequency of what occurred post the Covid Vaccine. One simply has to do some research of just Pro Athletes with heart alignments after receiving the shot. We've recalled medicines for fewer than 100 deaths in prior history.

I'm confused…does that mean we are then not allowed to ask questions about those possible effects?

You realize of course that the type of prayer that involves asking for something is just one of the many types right?

[Adoration: praising the greatness of God.

Confession: seeking forgiveness for wrongful acts

Thanksgiving: giving thanks to God for all good things and for creation itself.

Supplication: asking for personal needs or help for others.]

And adoration was long considered by the Prophets and early church fathers to be the greatest of the prayers

"The Early Church Fathers & Christian theologians universally considered Adoration to be the most important.…

praising God for who he is, and not what he can do or may do.

"the pure praise of God solely for who He is, completely detached from what He can do for us. The Church Fathers taught that because God is the ultimate good, adoring Him is the purest, most selfless form of love and the primary purpose of human existence"
