I'd like to see what UTSA does this year.
Traylor's stock has dropped a little after the last two .500 years in conference play.

“We don’t play music at practice. We don’t do ice cream trucks. We don’t do fun things. You know what’s fun? That locker room right now is fun.”

Dave disapproves. He reads Bernstein bears to the boys and gives pats on the back with ice cream cones

This is the kind of coach I like, someone who is all about football, none of that flashy nonsense. You can see Saban's influence all over this guy.
Many of us have been raving about him for years, and chances are he gets poached by the big leagues after this season. It's a shame, maybe Mack Rhoades should've read these forums instead of going all in on Aranda. Most of the members on this board would be a better GM

It's so true. I hate that, "this isn't a good year to get rid of our crummy coach, because there's no coaches that are good" argument people make, when this year's coach that's under the radar becomes next year's coach everybody starts talking about that now is out of our league. I was talking about Jimmy Rogers when he was at Washington State. Iowa State will probably struggle this year, but I think he will be very good for them in the long run.

That's what they always used to say on the premium side. I'm curious what RebelT thinks about the state of our program these days

Taylor at UTSA has that team set to make a big splash this season. He's a THSCA guy and has great chemistry with Texas coaches. He's my favorite. My long shot favorite is Dabo Sweeney because Clemson has been hurt with the NIL stealing their best players. Dabo would play well at BU. Newberry is a Baylor guy & has done well at the military academy but we need to rebuild the whole program to bury the last 7 years of boredom ball
