Dave Aranda adjusting to NIl means absolutely nothing… he doesn't win. Y'all knock on Dabo for going 7-6 his first true down year in like a decade. Yet Baylor went 5-7… Dave Aranda isn't in the same stratosphere as Dabo. Nor is Mike Gundy. And I'm sorry if this offends anyone. But anyone who says otherwise has zero football IQ.

I'm wrong about those 2 not being in the same stratosphere?? Haha you're kidding right? You gotta be a relative of Aranda. No sane person thinks Dip**** Dave is in the same league as Dabo. I could give zero ****s if Dave's "adjusted to NIL" it hasn't lead to wins.
Dabo has went to the playoffs in the NIl era…. Dave continues to bury Baylor. I cannot believe sone of you are arguing for Dave. So no bro… I'm not wrong on this one. Dabo still the SIGNIFICANTKY better coach. And it's not even close

His time as an elite championship coach is over. His time being miles better than Dave is not…. You & others keep arguing that Dave has adjusted to nil and Dabo has not. Fine, valid point. I just have 1 question that will ultimately end the stupidity,
When did NIL start in your eyes?
And went 4-4 in a terrible ACC the two seasons around that year, which still ended with four losses.IowaBear said:
Was NIL a thing in 24? Dude made the playoffs.
Some of you are either ******ed or chose to greatly exaggerate
This post is all over the place. Weirdly so, frankly.IowaBear said:
You win… Swinney sucks. The guy should just retire with what little dignity he has left. It's a shame you don't carry this sort of angst for a guy who's 36-38 in a terrible conference.
You literally drooled over Tech last year… now what they do isn't impressive?

Dumbest post ever. In no way shape or form does anything Dabo does make Dave Aranda look competent. Dabos floor is always going to be better than Dave's ceiling. I'll bet you any amount of $$ you want that Dabo finishes with a better record then dip**** Dave

He took Clemson to the playoffs two years ago.
I'm not a massive Dabo fan, but I think he's earned more respect than he's being given in here. I don't get why people moan in ecstasy when Dave wins 8 games, but Dabo is utter trash for having a 7 win season last year and then getting beat badly last week by a top five Bama team - a team that could beat Dave with their third string? It is not like the guy is losing to Air Force and Texas state
Now, would I just outright hire a head coach that got fired from their previous gig and was like, "I'm doing nothing differently if you hire me". No, probably not. But I'm giving the guy an interview for sure

Dabo turned Clemson into a borderline blue blood. If you don't understand why the expectations would be different for the coach of Clemson in a ****ty ACC and Baylor with a payroll at the edge of the "cap," then you're not worth having a discussion with.
A seven-win season at Texas, for instance, is a disaster. A cause for firing your coach. The same holds for Clemson based on their resources and recent history.
It's about potential, and Dabo has nuked his program's.
