I have no issues moving on from Aranda. He has earned it. Just not mid-season. If this team can go to a bowl and have a little success it would do wonders for the school.

If not, I got news for you I don't see BU getting rid of him until after the 2029 season. I can't see them paying 12M-ish just for a new HC? Especially is he is moderately successful, he goes to a bowl every 2 or 3 years. Has a Conference Championship. Now with NIL that 12 M can be used on players, who will come for money no issues.

My bet right now, is BU let's the contract expire before we see change. The "feel" will be good enough...

Baylor proves every day, along with many loyal fans, that they don't have the will or the desire to be competitive, if anyone tries to justify keeping Dave for any reason. Dave makes new mistakes every year. We know that, because he tells everybody what they are.

Ok. It is not true. Baylor is in a great position and decided to keep a losing coach because we like him. He is nice. Does that make you feel better about the program?

No one has come on and shown ANYTHING that the buyout is pro-rated. But, we have sources saying it isn't. In the typical Baylor way, believe what you want. These sites are making it up.
