They matter to me. I hate UT (and A&M, but moreso UT) both because of history but also because I have to live and work around those entitled a-holes every day. I'm waaaaaaaay more excited when Texas loses than when Tech or TCU lose. Doesn't mean I'm not happier with the latter, but it's not remotely close in terms of my hatred for those teams.
Schadenfreude is one of the few things we have left as Baylor fans, besides.

No, have worked with them for many years. The owner of the company I was CEO of was a Horn. Worked alongside many Aggie Engineers for years. My Baylor wife's family were all E TX Aggies. Used to be fun rivalries but now that we don't play them any longer, just two more schools to ignore like Alabama, USC, Ohio State and many others. Good schools, but irrelevant to me.
