It's difficult not to be optimistic after winning 4 straight, especially the beat down our guys gave ASU in Tempe. Plus consider that the next 4 games are very winnable meaning we could be 8-1 heading to Provo. Even with a loss there we could possibly get to Arlington. And BYU is beatable too.

I know it seems like I'm getting ahead of myself but all of this speculation is in the realm of possibility looking at our schedule and opponents.

I'm optimistic, primarily because of the defensive growth under the new DC.

But it's tempered by the fact we haven't really beaten any of the top teams in the Big 12.

But I'm on the bandwagon of enjoying every win and I even enjoyed the Auburn game because of how well DJ played when injured and the performance of the defense.

Hope they can play TCU at the same intensity level they played ASU!

I'm very optimistic because of the O. Score early and score often, and kick FG's and extra pts.

I said the same thing after the TCU game. You're quoting a post from before the TCU game that contained a pretty big caveat to begin with. That word "if" is doing some heavy lifting there.

As soon as we got clowned by TCU, my optimism and "care factor" was gone.
