I just dont see how Bachmeier holds up the whole season taking hits.

I guess his closest comp is Tim Tebow and he was durable but i have my doubts.

Washington hasn't beaten anyone of consequence and they have yet to win a conference game. In my view that's pretty bad.

ISU has had some breaks but cannot do anything. BYU is dominating the game so far. They still lead 14-3 and they are moving the ball again.

Sitake went for it on 4th and 1 at the 2 and missed! This was after making a FG with an ISU offsides penalty. They took points off the board and got nothing!

The only up side is their D has gone a good job stifling the Cyclones, who starry in the shadow of their own goal posts.

I don't mind going for it on fourth-and-1, but why are you throwing? You have a battering ram for a quarterback. Just get the first down on the ground and then you can do whatever you want.

Bachmeier has actually thrown the ball really well tonight. This is probably his best passing game ever. But you have to use his legs on fourth-and-short.

What a sequence! Another great defensive stop by BYU led to a punt from the shadow of their goal posts. BYU muffed the punt near midfield and then moved the ball better than all of the previous three quarters. Almost a touchdown but first & goal at the half yard line.

I'm aware.

I expected them to be terrible as a result, and they're not. They're still not good, but they play really hard.

Rogers is a hell of a coach. He will have them playing really well in year 2. Doubt they can hang onto him long term though. He's going to have opportunities in the near future

What exactly were you expecting from them this year? They returned like 12 players and completely revamped the roster

The BYU game gave me hope that Baylor can compete well with them. Their O is nothing special. Their D is about the same as Baylor's.

BYUs passing game is atrocious. At this point (week 5) I'd argue okie St and Utah are the leagues 2 best teams and Baylor plays neither.
Need to take care of the next 4 though. Those are all games Baylor should win.

I'll be interested to see the Arizona/WVU game. Arizona is a 2.5 favorite. Would be a nice road win for them if they get the W and get them to 5-1 with the only loss being to BYU.

I still can't figure out what to make of WVU yet.
