I'll never understand the pissing and moaning concerning the SEC. They gave us three pins and needles games today by powerhouses. Alabama, Georgia and Texas all played arch rivals last week. The games are fueled by powerhouse NIL and TV revenue. They have solidified their prowess in national championships. I wished the Big 12 played them more frequently during regular season.

I thought NIL would decrease my interest. But with teams unable to stack 4 and 5 stars three deep the games have become more competitive! Players want to play and the talent appears to be more widespread than ever leading to competitive games. Guys starting for Auburn would perhaps have been buried on Georgia and Alabama rosters under the old rules. It looks like a 24 team playoff may have entertaining upsets like the basketball tournament.

Yep… It has been a surprising equalizer.

For me the big downside right now are these superconferences that have lost a lot of the regional matchups...and mercenary players you don't always get to know as well and watch develop overtime like you used to.
