Well.....there isn't really urgency to win at a G5 that is not a candidate at all for P5. It's not like they can potentially lose out on 100s of millions long term if they give him another year and see how he and Zach do.

As a current student here, I can attest that the student body's interest in the program is nonexistent. It was also nonexistent after Tulsa's bowl appearance in 2015, so I'm not sure if TU really cares either way. Pressure from donors might be a different story, but I don't know anything about that.

Given the atrocious QB play this season I'll bet that he gets another season with Zach at the helm. No excuse if he can't get it done next year.

I think they're picked last in their division. Very under the radar. They will light some AAC defenses up.

They have Michigan State in their opening game and then OSU in their third game.

Well then, Way to Go Texas Southern!

A lot of G5s typically need the money they will receive from the P5s for these games, so it would make sense why they would try to play as many as possible. I like MSU's non con, two half decent G5s and a decent P5 team.

Outside of UCF, UH and Cincy they don't play anyone strong in conference. In fact they may not even play UCF and Cincy every season come to think of it. So they need P5 non conference games. Does Tulsa not play OU every year?

Too much metallic gold in those unis. They have no chance.
