First pick of 6th round. (only 8 teams)
The Wildcats...not sure where they are.

Wildcats
KD Cannon
WR
Baylor
Analysis: K.D. Cannon, a two-time All-Big 12 wide receiver, finished his college career ranked third all-time in receiving yardage in Baylor history, despite declaring for the NFL with a year of eligibility remaining. Cannon has spent time in both the NFL and CFL, off the strength of his play as an outside wide receiver. With 4.41-second 40-yard dash speed, the lean wideout wins as a vertical threat with his instant acceleration and ball-tracking skills.

Edit; Wildcats are in Los Angeles.

We will see if he makes it past whatever training camp they have.

Ha! Or the league make it past half a season...

He's one step closer to getting his hip hop career started. Parking cars outside the Grammy Awards is a real possibility in LA.

What about his brother KC?

joke from another XFL thread where the star trashgram got his name wrong, so don't jump at me about how he doesn't have a brother named KC

Blake Muir was also drafted. St. Louis.

Cyril Richardson, Seattle

Defense is the next two rounds and the last round is all positions.

will the XFL actually go anywhere? Or will it fail like the AAF mid-season?

Apparently he hasn't been doing much. He appears to be quite out of shape.

How is it that a guy (Jalen McClendon) that couldn't play here for us keeps getting looks in the NFL, XFL, etc?

Was it just to different a system from his first school? He upset Rhule? Not a hard worker? Or what?

I just don't see how a guy that doesn't play can keep getting looks.

I have seen several of these "player cards" and they all show poor numbers which to me does not sell the league well. Granted the numbers are more impressive than 99% of the posters on this board could do but not impressive for a professional sports league.

It's the inaugural year. Just like in college, it'll take at least four years to build teams to a competitive level.

In theory, the XFL has already planned to invest that much time before they get returns. But we'll see.
