May be coming after Snow. They are paying their current defensive coordinator 1.5 mil. I think our staff will be a hot commodity in the off-season.
They're after the Memphis coach. He's a hot commodity and has Arkansas ties, but they're going to have to fight a couple of other schools to get him.gold rewards said:

I completely agree. I wouldn't take the Arky job for all the money in the world. They are irrelevant in the new era of college football.PartyBear said:
The Memphis HC prefers the FSU job. So that has to be resolved in favor of someone else before he goes to Ark, assuming Ark offers him. This all according to footballscoop the other day.

Pure rumor and speculation based on some facts. My brother is an Arkansas grad and serves on a committee at the University. His conversations with his fellow committee members, and the comments on the Razorback forum, are all extremely interested in Rhule but don't think he will budge. However, there is some thought they can poach Snow because they are very willing to open up the pocketbook at this point. Whether or not it happens remains to be seen, but it makes sense from their perspective. No matter what, I think our assistant coaches are in for a nice payday after this season.
He specializes in trick plays and his QB's get a chance to work on outrunning defenses.Jacques Strap said:
Any chance Herman will hire Chad Morris as his OC?
I'll hang up and listen.

Arkansas is becoming a dead program.
They have no instate recruiting advantages.
Mississippi State has had more recent success.
And they have basically no hope of ever overcoming LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida....to be a top contender in the SEC.
I don't really know what the way forward for them is at this point.
Honestly they should have never joined the SEC but should have gone to the Big 12 with the other Texas-Oklahoma teams......those are their natural rivals and where the Texas recruiting grounds are....heck almost all their out of state students are DFW kids.
Arkansas and Nebraska are both in the wrong leagues...and are fast fading from any sort of relevance.
The irony is that move would help both programs, which figure to be lost in the college football wilderness with no discernible way out for the foreseeable future.Beaneater said:
I know this will never happen, but I'd love to have Ark & Neb back. Go to 2 divisions. Profit all the way around.

Absolutely. But, it was arrogance that motivated their moves in the first place and arrogance which will keep them where they landed.bear2be2 said:The irony is that move would help both programs, which figure to be lost in the college football wilderness with no discernible way out for the foreseeable future.Beaneater said:
