Hopefully this is just my pessimistic way of thinking but, I think if the land thieves win and the Utes win the committee will let ou jump Utah and claim strength of schedule. If the Bears & Utes win, I fear the committee using the Bears non conference schedule against them.

I hope I'm proven completely wrong.

That would be the greatest travesty in the history of sports if Wisconsin, with their loss against Illinois ,would jump a Big 12 champion. But I'm not saying it can't happen.

Utah is the better team and has better momentum. Oregon honestly has sputtered toward the end of the year even though they are winning.

Yes of course.

I still think the Big 12 champ should get the final nod, overall they are the tougher conference. They will have a better win than Utah, BAYLOR if they win tomorrow will also have a better loss than Utah.

So can Oregon win, yes, but they aren't favored.

Should it matter, hell no it shouldn't. The winner of OU/BU should be the final spot, as Big 12 champ.

Ironically the conference who's games are usually on so late people east of the Mountain time zone (most of the US population) dont see the whole thing, has their conference title crowned early (the night before) Championship Saturday for the rest of the country.
