Hopefully this formats correctly and it's comprehensible since I'm doing it on my phone, but here goes.
With this comparison you'll see in conference point stats which includes up till, but not including, the first BU/OU game. You'll also see the improvement or regression compared to season average of both teams the last 2 weeks since the BU/OU game. Finally you'll see the last 2 week performances by both teams against those like opponents (TCU, UT, Okst, KU) and with KU removed.

You may say that it's not exactly comparable since OU played TCU and OkST and Baylor played UT and KU. So here's comparing those 4 like opponents this year.
BU|Opponent (TCU, UT, OkST, KU - not in order)
61|6
24|10
29|23
45|27
BU 39.75| Opponent 16.5
OU|Opponent(TCU, UT, OkST, KU - not in order)
45|20
34|27
28|24
34|16
OU 35.25| Opponent 21.75
-
Compared:
BU 39.75| Opponent 16.5
OU 35.25| Opponent 21.75
Offense: +4.25 Baylor (More points scored on average than OU)
Defense: +5.25 Baylor (Less points given up on average than OU)
So yes Baylor has played a weaker last 2 games compared to OU, but when comparing those teams performances against those 4 like opponents Baylor has out performed OU on point average in both offense and defense.
Finally if you want to remove Kansas since it skews BU point stats then you're left with the 3 like opponents (TCU, UT,OKst)
BU|Opponent (TCU, UT, OkST - not in order)
24|10
29|23
45|27
BU 32.67| Opponent 20
OU|Opponent (TCU, UT, OkST - not in order)
34|27
28|24
34|16
OU 32| Opponent: 22.33
Almost dead even in performance in terms of point stats comparing those 3 like opponents. Tomorrow is going to be a tough fight.
