How many houses in the area have a safe room?
I know of at least one other, so there are probably others too.

Trump created the American economy? What sort of idiotic spillover from R&P is this? Sure, history started in 2016.Stranger said:BearFan33 said:
There is a lot of envy here. I get it; I'm envious too. But as the other poster noted, Rhule is in greater than the top 1 % of his profession. From what I can tell he has worked hard and earned it. I'm glad he took us on part of his ride.
I'm also glad we live in a society that is rich enough that we can put that kind of premium on entertainment.
And we should all give thanks to Donald Trump for creating an economy where this type of wealth is possible,

Back when the neighborhood had like 2 houses built, I used to go out to the vacant lot next to Rhule's house and look over the Bosque river valley below. Pretty scenic spot and I told my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) that one day we'd live there.
That lot is still vacant. And I'd still need to win the lotto before being able to build a house on it.
I'm Lester the Nightfly, hello Baton Rogue....Jokerman said:... and a groovy Hi-Fi system with ***en's "The Nightfly" on constant repeat.william said:... just convert it to an Arby's room. W/ a small sofa for a goat.Born_A_Bear said:

Yeah... but it improves greatly with Arby's, a goat sofa and a properly appointed safe room.TellMeYouLoveMe said:
That might be the worst song I've ever heard and I went to a Neil Diamond concert once, so I know bad music.

Don't know if true but hearing a former Baylor football player is buying the house.....he has played in the NFL thus sounds like he might be a cash buyer!

I'll do it if he throws in a ping pong table.
Give it a few months to close, then swing by the house and go knock on the door. See who answers.Singletary63 said:
Actually if it is who I think it is he invested wisely and can easily pay cash. I heard this person took some very smart positions in a few big name stocks thus sure he is doing quite well.
Hey, it's all about the process pal. And the process is you bust your ass and buy my wife the house of her dreams because she doesn't like Texas.Feedemfishheads said:
So that's what a humble Christian mans house looks like!
Good points. It's contradictory at best, but that house is an indication of commitment on some level.GrowlTowel said:
Still, with a house that size in a market like Waco, it makes me believe he thought he was here for the long haul. The 11 win season was a surprise (and it was).
But, then again, he interviewed after season 1.
I personally do not think it is smart to buy a house like this in the Waco area unless you plan on owning it for life and leaving it to your kids. Rhule may be very lucky with this former player potential buyer. Because selling something like this in Waco would be very difficult and typically take a really long time if it did get sold.Singletary63 said:

With a $60M guaranteed contract, I think he's going to be ok either way.PartyBear said:I personally do not think it is smart to buy a house like this in the Waco area unless you plan on owning it for life and leaving it to your kids. For anyone who thinks that Matt Rhule was the one in the family who selected that house......I've got some land for sale that you'd really be interested in. Great price, I have pictures, and we can handle the entire deal remotely via PayPal. PM me......TellMeYouLoveMe said:
Yeah, he's set now. At least in theory. I hope he can manage the spend a bit better this time so that he doesn't lose money..
