Busy thinking of ways to spin this loss as some sort of positive

Baylor (1-5) is back at home after a week off to face Kansas State (4-4) on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CT in a game that will be aired on ESPN2.
As bad as Kansas State needs a victory to overcome their recent slump, Baylor’s five-game losing streak is a bigger thorn in the side of Dave Aranda’s Bears and with games against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State remaining, this is the best chance to get another this season.
Since opening the season with a win over Kansas, Baylor has dropped five games in a row in a variety of ways by an average of seven points. More frustrating is that Baylor very well should have won three of the five with a loss to West Virginia in double overtime and most recently two consecutive losses to Iowa State and Texas Tech where the Bears led by double digits in the second half. Baylor fell to the Red Raiders on a field goal to end regulation.
For Kansas State, the Wildcats have had a back-and-forth eight-game season that began with a loss to Arkansas State of the Sun Belt and was immediately followed up with a victory over then No. 3 Oklahoma. KSU strung together four wins in a row, but are now in the midst of a three-game losing streak including most recently a 45-0 loss to Iowa State.
Baylor will see the return of offensive weapons John Lovett, Tyquan Thornton and tight end Ben Sims against the Wildcats. On the other hand, KSU could very well be without the starting linebacker duo of Justin Hughes and Elijah Sullivan.
Written by Sam Bradshaw (S11)
Baylor is more consistent stopping their opponent and outside of the outing in Morgantown have moved the ball better against common foes. KSU has a great kicking and return game that should make an impact. This one can go either way.
KSU gets a score or two off of short fields or returns but it’s not quite enough. Baylor gets the W but the kicking game issues that plagued them against TCU and ISU make Baylor fans sweat for it.
Baylor 24, KSU 23

Still here, still deferring to next season for judgment.

Sure looks like it to me. Not sure what your watching but right now Kansas is the only P5 program we're better then. Arandas face planting this team into a decade of cellar dwelling pillow fights with KU every year
Doesn't really do much good to wonder. We have the coach we have and he is failinggobears20 said:
I wonder how much better this team would have been with Rhule since these are his players?

Can't blame the coaches 100%.
The players are completely failing at the fundamentals. They know better.

At the pace we're going backward, give us a year or two and we'll be there.Michibear said:
Mind you, I'm not at all saying we are good or even average. Right now, were bad, very bad. But not Steele-level bad.
