I ate there three weeks ago. It was excellent. Hopefully they get it back together.

They no longer have the driving force of Mary at the controls.

You are correct. Either I misread or article has been changed

One of the sons posted a long deal on Facebook about it in response to the KWTX story. Said they would do better and wanted to regain trust. About all you can say, I guess.

Its had the same missing ceiling tiles, greasy floors, dank carpet, and cobwebs in the corners for 25+ years. It's part of the charm. The only difference is Mary isn't there any more to set the health department straight. Personally, if this helps thin out the crowds for a few weeks, maybe I can get a parking spot the next time I try to go.

If you want Eye-talian (vs Italian) food you're better off at Portofino's. Never got the appeal of Baris. Never really liked Eye-talian food either.

I've never really gotten the appeal of Baris either. It seems like they give you a ton of food, but I rarely if ever need a trough full of food.
