Does anyone remember having an adopted Big Brother/Big Sister program at Baylor? I experienced the Health Camp for the first time not long after Welcome Week, when my Baylor Big Brother took me there for dinner.

My dad, '63 grad, said he used to study at the Elite Cafe. He also used to bowl at Lake Air and the Lake Air burgers were his usual dinner.

I had a Big Sis and she took me to Health Camp. Great memories.

Her boyfriend was hired by the Partner at Arthur Anderson who was passed out in the back window of the Cadillac in Fandango.

Carol also introduced me to Fandango.

Love Fandango! What a reference! The movie was about a group of Texas students, but I believe the story should have started at Baylor. I could be wrong, but I thought Herb's son, Kevin, directed it.

During Baylor graduate school, I went skydiving in Temple, and I kept thinking, "Arch!" during training. We practiced in a hangar very much like the one in the film.

It was very much about Baylor students. Kevin Reynolds directed and it was semi-autobiographical. The mom and dad that show up at the frat party are Herb Reynolds and his lovely wife Joy.

Supposedly, because of the nature of the partying, Herb would not allow Kevin to use Baylor in the movie. So, they became UT students.

As an old 70s BU accounting alum and Arthur Andersen alum, I'd be curious to know details. Probably not appropriate to post them here, but curious if it's someone I worked with.

According to this thread when we discussed this on Baylorfans, the Arthur Anderson partner is Joe Griffin.
