Has anyone tried Chilaquiles in Woodway, the new Mexican restaurant? I've heard a few good reports.

Didn't realize it was open as the place is still wrapped in the streets of Italy. I saw the sign up front but figured it wouldn't open with the wrap on it.

They've apparently had a soft open already, but the grand opening is coming up soon.

I went 3x last week. I'm a big fan, but I also have a really high floor for Tex-Mex. I like everywhere.

I like it and it's right around the corner from our house. I've had enchiladas and the breakfast burrito and I like everything I've had. My wife had the fajitas and thought they were really good.

It's the right mix of local (which I like) and nice on the inside (which she likes). Our waitress the first day said that one of the owners is a partner in Hecho en Waco downtown.

Great lunch specials and the breakfast is pretty cheap. They also have a drive thru for takeout.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for.

We ate there last night. They are best Mexican food south of highway 6. First the basics. Community brand ice tea always good, they make their own flour tortillas, salsa not amazing, but decent. Beans good, rice needs more flavor. Meats tender and sauces are decent. Overall above average fresh food. Great option for dinner if you don't want to drive into Waco. Not a ton of seating if it did get popular for family dinners in this area.

Marina's with their fresh made corn and flour tortillas and other from-scratch flavors is still the clear favorite for breakfast. Maria Mezcaleria has better chips, salsas, sauces and elevated dishes.

Really miss Cultura Ma. Their truck is good, but not as good as when they had a full kitchen to work with.

Maria's is our go to sit down right now. I'd say its the pretty clear leader with Cultura Mia shut down and Cultura Mia kinda slid near the end too.
Noooo evidence for that, babeeyyy, just maaade it up.

Sison Tacos now has a sit down restaurant. Excited to go there and try it. Food truck was good for the few things we tried. Looks like a nice place

I went. Was pretty decent. My son really enjoyed the barria tacos. Good bar. Great service. Very clean.

No homemade flour tortillas nor homemade tortilla chips. That was the only disappointing thing for me. Salsas were really good.

Ok, Sison Tacos is very very good. Just moved into top 2 for us. A must go. Limited menu, but they do each so well. We got huarache, chilaquiles and tacos along with aguas frescas.
