Will be spending the night in the Waco area during the Texas game and looking for a place to board our small dog. Any suggestions of places to consider and any places to avoid.

Dogtopia is well regarded in Waco. It's expensive but it's more of an interactive experience for the animal then just plain ol' boarding. I've used it before and it's fine but I didn't want to pay that much again...

Honestly, I use South Bosque Vet Clinic the most. They are no frills - it's kennel boarding. They do a good job and I've always been happy with it.

We've used South Bosque for our corgi for years. No problems.
Illigitimus non carborundum
We use Purrfect Paws to come and let our dogs out. They charge $10/visit and we prefer that to boarding. Just a thought.
We used Best Fido Friends for our Golden.... great place, as is Dogtopia! Best Fido even offers some upscale rooms, with TV!
Guess will will board him at Best Fido Friends but unable to get him out till 3 PM the next day ! Thanks for all the suggestions.

You can't go wrong with Best Fido Friends...place and people are great! Check out their Facebook page as well. We use them often and it is by far the best we've found in the Waco area.
