I think the S&W Bodyguard .380 is a great carry weapon for your wife. But yes, take her to a gun store and let her try out several to hold, and then to an indoor range where you can shoot several different models.

Only use a revolver when it absolutely HAS to fire when you press the trigger.Pecos 45 said:

Very simple. No safety to disengage, and I never heard of anyone finding a dead man with a jammed revolver in his hand.
