My wife and I were trying to remember the name of the steak place where the beef was butchered by students training at TSTI. We were there 1973-1977. Large portions, cheap prices.

I don't remember a restaurant but they did have a meat market on campus. I bought many steaks from them in the early 80's

It is same location and same name...
But the vases with flowers are no longer glued down on the table!
I haven't been there in two or three years...
By the way, I don't think anything is still like it was when we were in school...dang, we are getting old!
I personally thought Heitmillers was over rated including the original one out near West.
Speaking of which, where exactly was that building? When I drive through that area now it is so different I can't remember where exactly it was. I assume 35 access road on the site now. When did that original one close?

The original Heitmiller was at the South I35 exit in Elm Mott
